This is me…the one on the left.
As you can probably tell, I like to laugh – and laughing with friends is one of the best things life has to offer.
I’ve been married for over 20 years to a guy who’s as loyal as the day is long and get this, is super funny. So, yay, more laughing for me. We have 3 really smart, pretty sporty, surprisingly artsy boys (man-children really) who make me smile and make me crazy, just about every day. The eldest one is off to college soon (sigh) which is why I’ve set my emotional outlet into motion early (this here blog…lucky you.)
Besides the written word, my passions are Kansas basketball and the Kansas City Royals (reigning World Champions – in case you hadn’t heard), good music (my children grew up on Counting Crows and U2 – they wouldn’t know a kidz bop from a sing-a-long and for that, we are quite proud), robust conversation on a variety of topics, and faith that is tested and true.
A fine wine (or lately, Moscow Mule), a beautiful day, a vigorous walk/bike ride/or namaste — all welcomed extras.
That’s me in a sound bite (albeit a rather lengthy one, for our cultural inability to care past 140 characters).

Ok, LIZ…I did not know Lizzie was allowed! And I tried hard to change to Elizabeth for a while, but my fav is still Phiz 😉 You are ONE.

Christie!!! You can call me Phiz and Dave can call me Lizard!! You’ve earned the right! I was going to text you about the pic – but thought it might be fun to see when you would notice! Hope Jill doesn’t mind either?! And that other sweet girl – don’t even remember her name – but that was one of my fav photo sessions ever!!
